VGA Video from an iBook

So the one thing that seems terribly lacking is the ability to connect my iBook to an external monitor. There are USB video mirroring solutions, but are limited to NTSC at around 4 frames/second. Seems like there must be a way to pull a VGA signal out of an iBook somewhere, somehow, either by a direct hardware mod, or using something faster than the USB (with my airport, the 10/100 ethernet is just sitting there waiting for some use).

Any ideas out there?

If you wanted video mirroring, you should have gotten a PowerBook. The iBook isnt for heavy-hitting, process/or-munching people (or applications).

It was never lacking. It never belonged, and still doesnt belong on an iBook.
