Some time ago I mentioned my scratched iMac monitor. Appears that replacing it costs $430. That's almost the price of a second hand 17" inch Studio Display. What should I do? Find a G3 casing, hack my iMac into it and attach the 17 inch one, or replace the internal 15 inch tube? Of course the casing will cost even more then, but I would have a larger monitor and room to put my second hard disk internally instead of it hanging externally on a flat IDE cable and without a case. Help me out. Donations are welcome (I even accept VISA! http://order.kagi.com/?ORH ) cause it ain't cheap

Why not buy one of the iMac rack-mount kits, then get that studio display?

Peace

They're not as nice as the G3 cases, and they don't boast extra space for my HD.
