Ok, so I was a bit disapointed when I got my Apple Pro Keyboard. The cord DOESN'T REACH!!!! GEEZE...

We go from the stupid puck mouse, with the small keyboard and long a$$ cord, to a cool mouse, big keyboard and short cords! Is it me or is something outa proportion here?

Any way, has anyone swiched cords from the old small keyboard with the new pro keyboard? I know it's only 4 wires, but I figure i'd check before hacking into them...

Well I know of this one super bad ass hack with USB cables. It's where you buy a USB extension cable.

I agree about the extension cable. I have one and it works rather well to make my pro mouse reach around to the right side of my iBook. It only cost about $6.00.

What will it be; a $6.00 extender, or $59 if you make a mess of it?

Or better yet, do what I did and call Apple for a free extender cable. There was a piece of paper in with my G4 saying to call the order number and get one for free if you need it.
