For the iMac DV, there really is no way to change the graphics chipset. Sorry.

Earlier iMacs (up to the 333MHz model) had some upgrade options, but the 2nd generation units (350, 400 MHz) have no graphics upgrade options.

The new generation ("summer" iMacs) have a rage 128 pro in them, which is a step in the right direction. I saw the demo of both the voodoo 5 and the raedeon at the expo, and i'm really torn.

Yep, its amazing what just the graphic card can do to affect your computer buying, my dad was going to get an iMac, but then when i found out that you couldn't expand it, i told him not to get it and told him all this crap that didn't make sense which convinced him.

Luckily though, i'm on a Yosemite, PCI Radeon is coming my way this yeaar!
