The second pic came from this arstechnica thread, about midway down. Just now, the three "Blackintosh" pics seem to be unavailable, btw.
At least, it is not a link to AI.

I think it looks dumb. The case is black and clear (cool) but the APPLE IS STILL GAY BLUE! No offense if you are gay. Its just a pansy color. Err.r.... sorry if you are a pansy, but the blue is a girly color.. ARGH. Sorry if you are a girl. I give up.

You void the warranty by putting in another hard drive? Where does it say that? That's dumb!

I wasnt trying to offend everyone. I was trying to make them laugh. But that requires some intelligence and a sense of humor, and considering you have neither, never respond to anything I have to say again Mr 8 post boy.

I think he is a moron, actually. How could you void a warranty by installing a needed system component? Do you void the warranty by installing RAM? Installing a PCI card? The only time I can think of that you would void a warranty by installing a hard drive is on the iMac.

Notice how he completely destroyed his message, after realizing that putting in a hard drive won't void a warranty. Rivak, I would like you to do HALF the stuff that Ca$h did with his iMacs. And whatever his secret case hack project is will probably better than anything you could even get past the imaginining stages on.

Uh, Ca$h hasn't done anything with LEDs. Do a little research to find out how he replaced daughtercards, video cards, CD-ROM drives, fans, etc. and tricked out an iMac without going near LEDs.

Whee, it's nice to see my Blackintosh around the boards.
Here's my favorite pic:
Just so you guys know, the black G3 with the blue apple logo on the monitor's side is not mine. That belongs to George Day, the first guy who painted his G3 black, and who inspired me to paint mine. AFAIK, I'm the only one who has painted the Apple logos black.

Heh. Ironically Im getting LEDs soon. I figured if my iMac is "different", it should look it. Just you wait, you'll all be impressed... cuz its not just LEDs that Im using to make it look "different".
Ca$h
PS: LEDs in keyboard are neat. Then I dont have to have a light on.

webslacker, if you're going for the gothic black look for your G3, why not get the handles replaced with some wrought iron ones ? I'm sure some local blacksmith, or metal artist could knock some up for you, and it would look very steampunk

That's a good idea. You gonna lend me some money so I can hire an iron smith?

If you lend me some to buy a G4
I think you'll need to spend some on a private detective to *find* a smith nowadays
You could however, get the same effect by covering the existing handles in moulded resin, painted with hammerite or something similar, then a bit of gold wire trim
