Ok, this is crazy. I want a PowerPC upgrade for my old Quadra 630 (and I do NOT want to buy a first-gen PowerMac, or replace the Quadra's motherboard). I can't find the old card for sale anywhere (not that I expected to), but no one makes a card compatible with the Quadra 630. I e-mailed Sonnet asking why they did not make a Presto! PPC card compatible with the Quadra 630. They replied telling me they could not do it due to the Quadra 630's motherboard architecture! How does that make any sense? That didn't stop Daystar, so why should it stop them? They obviously were able to decipher the motherboard architecture of those other Quadra models, so why not the 630?

I'm having the same problem, there is pretty much no hope for you unless you are willing to pay 750 bucks for one. (some dealer was overselling them for that much, the old daystar/100Mhz 601 processor upgrade, fits in the PDS slot)

Your best way to upgrade would be to get a motherboard replacement, go on eBay.

Go on eBay, i just saw someone selling one, pretty hefty price though, but better than 750.
