I was sitting at lunch today and had a revelation. What if you could rig an iMac to have dual G4 processors. I'm not concerned about heat issues right now, just if it could be done. Maybe take two iMaxpower G4's and rig them up inside. Split the connection from the mobo to the daughter card maybe? Just my thoughts, but if that could happen, it would rock!

How do you propose to do that? There's only one daughtercard slot, and only one G4 processor available on any of the upgrades. I don't think the motherboard could support dual processors anyway.

tell ya what. I'll MAKE a dual G4 processor iMac for you if you can figure out how to get an AGP slot into an iMac. All you have do to is somehow desolder all the traces to the on board card, then resolder them to the AGP slot! And adjust the bios so it sees the new card instead. Deal? Great.

Ca$h, sounds like a deal. I always wanted an AGP interface for my graphics cards. Thanks for the offer!
