I would really like it if someone would tell we how to open up my iBook SE?

even tho its the only intructions iv seen on how to opn an ibook, its really really well done. the hardest part is to pull apart the top part of the main case (what the trackpad sits in).

ive done it about 16 times, so now it only takes 10 mins ^_^

Hi! When you open up your iBook, how far apart do you intend to take it?

I'm looking to see if you can photograph the motherboard on both sides near the firewire port. (I want to try and add firewire to an earlier iBook, and figure if I can see what hardware I'm missing then I can add it.)

I know there are other sites that also document with pictures how to disassemble your ibook, but can't find them right now.

the book mentioned at http://www.planetit.com/techcenters/...T20000911S0023 may or may not be of use, since it encompasses many models and software as well as hardware issues.

As soon as I have an iBook in my hands <rev.a> I can take it apart, photgraph the process, and tell you how, if you can wait a few more days.

Please photograph the area near where the firewire is, if you're taking yours apart that far.
