I have an Apple Extended Keyboard II that I want to paint in a graphite/blue color (to match my G4/Studio Display). I prefer the older keyboard to Apple's "Pro" offering.

What to do I have to do, or what is the best paint to paint the keyboard w/o anything coming off?

If you don't mind buying a new keyboard, there are black AEK2's available, such as those that shipped with the PowerMac 5500/250 DE...
Or there may be another keyboard that you like that comes in graphite, such as some of the MacAlly offerings...
Sorry I can't help on the paint issue

I would suggest a Macally iMedia keyboard. I've bought one and I absoluetly love it. It has "springy" keys which makes it really easy to type, flows very nicely. Plus, it's translucent so it'll match any G4/G3/Cube/Imac or whatever.

It also has multimedia keys at the top. 5 miscellaneous programmable keys, and 3 other programmable keys with an eMail, WWW, and "i" logo. The other keys are for operating DVD/CD-ROM and your Audio.

It is a full extended keyboard with T-arrows, number pad, all 15 Fkeys, etc. It's a really great keyboard.

I also bought a Macally 3 button USB mouse. They say it's "PC only" but you can use USB overdrive and it works perfectly.

Bah, where's the excitement in that? Just take it apart, and spray paint the casing. If it screws it up, do what one of these guys says, and buy new one.
