Alright, just telling you that i HAVE searched and searched and searched, hell, maybe i am a moron but here is the scoop.
Need a 15-20GB Internal HD to replace the rapidly disappearing 6GB one in my iMac Rev D. Must be cheap but no shady companies out of Laos or anything. All I come up with are bare bones ones, I need something to hand to an Apple Specialist, and say,"put this in my computer."
Also if its not too much trouble would them there people be able to copy all the **** off the other drive so when i get my iMac i turn it on and it looks just like the old one, just with more space.
Not asking for you to search, just looking for some personal experience and know-how. Please help soon .8GB left and closing fast!!

maxtor diamond max PLUS drives will work fine and are fairly cheap. Make sure it's a PLUS though, or it won't work. I got a 30 Gb for $160 at compusa w/out even shopping around.
Here's an installation guide. http://www.theimac.com/drive_steps.shtml
although it's a little easier than that if u follow these directions (thanks to whoever posted this guy's website) http://homepage.mac.com/strider/macos9/upgrades.html
But if you don't want to do it yourself, and u take it into a shop. Then u might be able to get them to throw the old HDD into a tower, and transfer what u want from that drive into your new one. Make sure u keep the drive or get some money back if they want to keep it.
