I recently picked up an Apple Adjustable keyboard. I've always loved the design and have wanted one since they first appeared on the shelf back in 92 or 93. I'm an industrial design student and I've become increasingly interested in an independant project, since we have to facilities at my school to do some pretty neat stuff. Well anyway, the Keyboard has a few design flaws and such, but the idea I was thinking of was to either covert it over to USB (and translucent graphite) or to make another one out of another keyboard. I would be fabricating the housing myself. If anyone knows: is there any huge difference in the way that usb and adb keyboards work? Is it just the connector difference?

USB and ADB couldn't be more different...
ADB is analog, serial...
USB is digital...
USB has greater throughput...
They are nothing alike.

Why don't you just get a Griffin iMate (http://www.griffintechnology.com/imate/index.html) as use the keyboard you have?

That's what I do now. I also have a Kensington Turbo Mouse hooked up to it. I just thought it might be fun to have a more thematic keyboard
