I saw the article on xlr8yourmac.com about this but the photos kinda show what the deal is. So for a 5x multiplier you need 1011 but my 450 is at 0111 I think. So do i need to take that resistor and unsolder it thn move it over one slot or what?

Video & graphics aside, do you think 450 DP compares well to the 533 DP?

You should have only one position bridged for either 450 or 500 I believe(obviously different positions). Re-use the resistor or remove it and bridge with solder. The bus speed address circuit already has a pull-up(the small blue flat-pak by the jumper pads). My DP500 has been very stable at 550 since December. To go to 500, your processor board should look like the pictures of mine that Mike B. has from before the modification .

hmm I wonder how hard it will be to Overclock a DP 533
