Why do you need a USB keyboard? You said you have a perfectly good ADB one. Why don't you just use that insted of ripping it apart and duct-taping it to your monitor...

And if you're going to rip it apart anyhow, wire it into the seat so that when your wife sits down, the machine turns on... that's one powerful as.s.
