It seems to me that there is more than enough space in the iBook's top half for a 13.3" or even 14.1" LCD.....And with the 8MB ATI's in the new ones, the video card can support it.....

So, how? The physical changes to the top aren't a problem (hello, Xacto knife), but I need more info on the "connector" to the logic board, and software drivers.....

Anyone want to give it a theoretical whirl?

Hmmm... I seem to recall something about the iBook board being basically the same as the PB 2000 - maybe the connectors match up. Anyone out there got one of each (plus Torx T-8 and the spare time) and feel like checking it out?
