I bought some G3 panels and exchanged them with the ones on my G4, don't ask why.

Hoping to change the graphite apples on the doors to blue, but i know they are tough to remove.

well my friend did the same sortof idea that you had, but he replaced the side panels(the ones with the graphite apple) for the g3 ones with no background and made his own background and also transferred over the graphite apple(it was a bitch to get off, but didnt lose its stickyness) so it looks like the reverse of your picture, plus some cool graphics like Tux, and the FreeBSD daemon

Could you please tell me more about how he got the apples off? I wanna exchange them with the blue ones, but am afraid of wrecking my doors.

I had gotten a spare door panel and removed the blue apple with ease, There is a very small hole on the inside of the door which i took a small nail and pushed and the apple poped right out.
