Does the G4 Proc/socket contain a temp probe?

If so how does one generate/view a temp report?

What are normal G4 temp ranges at idle and under heavy load such as with heavy gaming or running SETI?

Thanks,
Michael

Thermograph is pretty slick, especially if you have a duallie.

I downloaded Gauge Pro a couple of days ago and when I ran it the temp reading was 5Of/10c that doesn't some possible. I wan't running any other apps at the time, but my computer is always on, I ran Seti and the temp went up about 10 degrees, but that still seems really low. The ambient temp was about 70f and the machine is a G4/466 running OS 9.1. Has anybody seen this type of thing before?

Sounds like bad sensing/reporting, assuming that your cooler is a simple heatsink/fan combo where TBMK proc temp has little option but to be greater than 'ambient' air temp. Right?
