I see that Intel Xenon (5450?) CPU is available for purchase as well as matching motherboard.
That being said, do you think that I would be able to upgrade my PowerMac G5 with those components and have it work at par with stock Intel based Mac Pro?
(Offcourse that I need to change memory and probably some other small things, this question is regarding a genaral idea of this kind of major upgrade).

You might be able to get the Mac Pro logic board to fit in the G5 case with enough effort, but why? You'd also need to swap the memory and power supply, none of the connectors would be in the right place, etc.

You'd be better off just buying a new Mac, to be completely honest.

OK. I suspected that there's more than simple swap to it.
Yoou guys happen to know where I can find used Macs for USED Mac prices.
So far, where ever I looked, the best deal is still refurbished Mac from Apple site?
Even Ebay...
Yet trade in value of my PowerMac is only $300-$400 per couple of web sites???

I would sell your G5 on eBay and use that money towards buying a Mac Pro on Apple's refurb site.

G5s are essentially a dead end as far as major upgrades go.
