FF7 and FF8 both works with VGS. I played FF7 on PSX, but it's officially supported by VGS. FF8 required some path work or something, but considering i played it like 3x on VGS, I know it works FF9 on the other hand, doesn't...i heard it works with the PC version, but that doesn't support Win2K oh well...wish someone come up with a PS2 emulator so I can play FFX and Xenosaga!
G4/450, T-bird 1.05GHz, iBook 500, iBook 233...4 different machines, 4 different OSes...(9, 2k, X.1, YDL2.2 respectively) PiA to maintain...

are any of you guys running VGS with a Radeon 8500 by any chance? my colors are all messed up whenever i run it, so i can't play Gran Turismo 2 anymore...unless i pop out my 8500, and put my Rage 128 back in!

and speaking of PS2 emulators, i hear FlareStorm is coming along nicely, although very slowly.

check out this beta tester's screenshots:

whoops! don't know why i put a '2' in there...maybe that's what i'm secretly wishing for.

there were some guys from NYC who were developing a PS2 emulator just for OS X, i think it was called Grinch...? but i think that things dead. they wanted to work with sony to get it out there (that's laughable!), as this grinch thing was supposed to have some sort of breakout box to connect controllers or something like that.

Grinch:

I think that grinch thing was a hoax.

Flarestorm is comeing along great FF7 already plays in it, every bit that I got to worked. Though its very slow, and buggy, I dont think controls can even be configured.

To those who check it out, just remember not to expect anything to work untill its at least 1.0 or darned close

And in reguards to the topic poster, I played all the way through 7 on CVGS and quite a bit of 8,then I got my PS2 (woot) and played through it on there.
