How do I set up RTCW server with a router?

Well, I've got a router between the computer and the outside world and when I try to set up an RTCW server using the normal in-game settings, it isn't being registered with the central Id Software server lists. What do I have to do to configure this correctly?

You should forward port 27960 (if you are using the standard port) to your computer hosting the server..
