Here is my story about JK II:
I was on the apple store a while back (2 weeks ago), and just for kicks, placed an order for JK II to see what their estimated ship date was going to be; it said early October.
Today, returning to the apple store to check out iPod prices, I notice that the JK II item was never removed from my shopping cart. Big deal, so I decide to take it off, and notice, behold, that the estimated ship date is 1-3 days.
Do they know something I don't?
Any suggestions?

No. That's a pretty wildly wrong estimate given that it hasn't gone GM yet. Watch the Aspyr or Westlake project status pages. When you see the game hit GM there, then you can start watching your mailbox.
