Would those who are using the new Links CE in OSX give a brief report of their success. State your hardware (machine type, video and RAM mainly). I think this woud be very interesting since there seems to be very varied results but little info collected in one place.

Thanks!

I don't think there is much info in one place because so few play this game. Do a search and you'll see a discussion in this forum about this game. I have an original dualG with 1GB of RAM and the stock GeForce4MX card. Links CE is playable with this machine, and improved somewhat under Jag, but it still plays better in OS 9.

If you're looking for more info, check out the forums at the Mac Links Community.

Thanks KeyLimePi--

The info you provided was exactly what I was hoping to see in this thread.

The problem with the other forums is that almost no one tells what hardware they have when they discuss a problem with Links CE. For example, I have a Ti Powerbook 550, 384mb RAM and OSX 10.1.5. I have been putting off buying Links CE because I cannot tell from what others are saying how well it will run on my configuration. Also, if I buy a tower, will Links CE run better on a ATI Radeon or a Geforce? I would assume that others would also like to know this as well!
