Does anyone know of any updates planned to allow Mac OS X games to support gamepads? The ones I want are Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, Spiderman, Otto-Matic, Cro Mag Rally, and others. I've waited buying some of them because of the lack of gamepad support. All the companies making new Mac OS X games are including gamepad support so why can't they just make a quick patch? I would buy more Mac games if I knew I could expect better support.

You could try USB Overdrive byAlessandro Levi Montalcini. This excellent utility seems to cope with just about any input device and game!

USB Overdrive doesn't yet support gamepads in Mac OS X and GamePad Companion is not very good. Native support from with the games would be better. I will give USB Overdrive X a try when a gamepad compatible version is released.
