i'm sorry, but this is just a pet peeve. It's Mac, not MAC. Mac is not an acronym. It's short for Macintosh. once again, nothing to do with subject, just a peeve.

X-plane is a great simulator, it's even got an FAA rating because of its realism. You can basically use its tools to model something and most likely it'll fly in the real world.

Its got the whole Earth (and Mars), all the airports, the list just goes on...

The latest betas have weapons, but I haven't looked into them yet. You can go online, put a row of machine guns on top of your Glider, feel them kick back while attacking your buddy's Space Shuttle equipped with Sidewinders. And so on.


Warbirds III is available for Macs, too. Called best sim and best online sim by many, you can fly the training missions free. I heard there might be a free newbie online arena, but am not sure.


These two are my favorites, they should work with 10.2,

We have F1 2000 which will be released next month which is a full simulation of Formula One Racing.

We also have Enemy Engaged (A chopper sim) on the way but we don't have a release date yet.

Planes? Yeah, well, fighter jet anyway.

Graphic Simulations is coming out with a new F/A-18 Hornet simulation around late Nov or Dec for OSX. I can't wait. My favorite simulation (game) ever.
