Is this the end for Nintendo? Probably not but it'll leave a huge scar.
I hate Microsoft.

Yes, I hate them, too. I really do, now.
The Rare site changed this evening, too, with a letter to the fans and press release, and such. Die, M$, die. Even if this is one of the smaller, unimportant things in the grand scheme of the Universe and life itself, just die. Bad, die, go away.
*Sigh* They have vacancies already in the recruitment section.
After playing Star Fox Adventures today (quite technically advanced and impressive, by the way) and seeing that Rare style in place, it made me feel sad. Oh well. I'll miss 'em, but life continues. Bring on Metroid Prime.

Not sure if this is good or not. I looked at a few video gaming forums and the feedback seems pretty negative that this will actually hurt M$. The biggest arguement is that Rare hasn't produced any quality games for awhile now (and also missed deadlines and poor sales, the reason Nintendo dropped them) and the games that Rare is really known for, Nintendo holds the property rights to. we will see.

*cough* Goldeneye *cough*
Frankly Nintendo might own Donkey Kong and Starfox but they're all excellent games. It's the gameplay and graphics and ingenuity that make a Rare game. I believe they re-invigorated the Donkey Kong franchise.
Fun is what counts.
If you build it (well) they will come.
Lets hope they do.

Yes, I wish I sold it long time ago but nobody want it
Microsoft kept making me sicker and sicker. I don't see why Court didn't notice Microsoft's monopoly behavior? Did MS paid them or something?

Yes, 375 million. And the rights to Perfect Dark, Conker, and Bajo-Kazooie are now owned by M$. :o

No I mean did they paid Court to shut down all cases against Microsoft or something?
13 states sued Microsoft recently and it vanished quietly.
Rare is losing lot of their good employees so we shouldn't worry I can't wait to buy TimeSplitter 2
