It says late September as an estimated release date.
Anyone want to take a guess as to whether or not that mark will be met (it's only a tentative date do remember)?

So why even bother guessing?
It'll be done when it's done. Ask Brad...that's what he'll tell you I'm sure.

Definitely. From a development standpoint, it's nearly there. Once it leaves my hands, it goes to Aspyr where it then immediately bounces over to LucasArts for approval. From there, it *may* need approval from Activision and Raven - I'm not 100% sure on that since that's outside the scope of my work on JK2.
Some games blitz through approval, others get mired in it for months on end, seemingly forgotten about by the PC publisher. Of course, that's never happened with a LucasArts title, but as a possibility, it exists.

OT: You know I've been thinking...I gotta stop criticizing your and other people's work like I normally do.
I should feel privileged to be chatting with the actual mac porters/developers. I think that's why I enjoy Macs so much: it's the environment. It seems like the Mac community can be closer to their developers than on the PC (of course, I may be completely wrong here but I feel like I've talked to most of the important Mac devs out there.)
Westlake, Omni Group, Adam Iser (Adium), Justin Wood (Proteus), Ambrosia, Richard Bannister (many emulators), etc... it just seems like the Mac devs are friendly and listen more.
There's just a select few that don't give a crap about my thoughts and to my knowledge can't be contacted personally through e-mail or through forums. And these select few are *drumroll* Apple, Microsoft and a few other big companies that seem to think that they're on top of the world (or are too large to be able to send a few men to gather proper feedback.)

Now it says October on the Aspyr website.
Drat.
At least we know it'll be complete by the time it ships (unlike so many other games these days).

Aspyr: Jedi Knight II has gone to Final Candidate
Mac game publisher Aspyr Media today noted that its forthcoming release of the 3D action game Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is now at the Final Candidate stage.
Prep those lightsabers. :o)
