I'm looking for a gamepad that looks like one of the old SNES ones, that is compatible with SNES9x, anyone know of any?

Gravis Gamepad is pretty close - two more L&R buttons, that's all. It works with SNES 9x in both 9 and X.

Peter Cohen of MacCentral fame pointed me to this. It's a adaptor that let's you hook up a N64 controller to your mac.
When I asked Pete of OS X support:
Quite, though it's dependent on the specific application (game/emulator) software to support it. It's HID-compliant, so it's recognized by any game that supports HID Manager -- the built-in OS X game controller API. That list is fairly short, but growing.
It might not be for you, but thought I'd share...
I myself was on the hunt for a pad to play Zelda LttP, but then I broke down and bought it used for $17. a deal in my eyes. God I love that game.

Is there anything like this for the PSX controller, I hate the N64 controller.

Try the Joyport:
http://www.kernel.com/
This product has been around since 97 or 98. I almost bought one, but cancelled my 6 month preorder (back in 97) and never got around to ordering one.
I juse use an iShock and iShock II for my computer. I bought an Adaptoid by Wish and it worked flawlessly, but I lost it when I moved.

Try the macally iShock. The first one is shaped exactly like a PSX gamepad. Should work under OS X.
The iShock 2 is different however, and doesn't look much like the PSX gamepad.
Dunno if the iShock 1 is still available somewhere. If not, you can always try ebay.
Check macally.com for more details
