Can someone recommend Mac software (prefereably pre-OS X) that a 6th grader could use to create games, probably arcade style?

I don't know about easy-to-use arcade-style game builders...but about 10 years ago as a 6th grader, I used to create some pretty mean World Builder games.

Ahhh, Silicon Beach's World Builder...I loved that silly adventure game builder. Why can't anyone create something like that anymore? I miss Silicon Beach.

Sorry if I haven't answered your question...

I haven't tried creating a game with Coldstone...but I bet it's really cool. But I also bet it's very time consuming (creating the graphics). And while you can create tons of various games with it, it's only really meant to be used as an RPG maker.

You could probably make an arcade-type game with Coldstone but it'd probably suck.

So far I haven't seen any third-party Coldstone-created games...but maybe I'm not looking hard enough and maybe they're hidden deep in the int4rw3b.

HyperCard. Sucks for action games but oh well.
