Hi.
Is there any good Role-playing game that will run on my iMac (rev.A/233/2mb video)?
And where can I get it? I'm looking for some old-style rpg, something like the games on the Amiga (I was playing almost all of the rpg games for the Amiga platform, and they were all great; for.eg. Ambermoon, Eye of the beholder, Dungeon Master, and some others from ssi.)
best regards,
Kamil

with your machine... the best bet is to go the snes route (or someother old console) you can get an emulator at:
Emulation.net
and its not too hard to find games over the net.
might not be ideal, but they should run fine on your old imac, and some of the games you can get are classics

Try Fallout or Fallout 2. I'm positive that they'll run, because I remember playing them long ago on my POS Compaq laptop at 233 MHz Pentium 1.

I'd say go emulation too. Check out the SNES ones, there are plenty of them and tons of great RPG's. Try Final Fantasy 3, Chrono Trigger, and Earthbound to get started.

If you don't want to go the emulation route, however, have a look at Spiderweb Software. They make shareware old-style RPGs that are some of the best around - the Exile/Avernum series, Nethergate, Geneforge, and other stuff.

Yes...those were great RPGs...
Also good fun (but with a more simple plot) were the Dragon Warriors on NES. Dragon Warrior 3 and Dragon Warrior 4 were good fun...and they all had the catchiest tunes ever. I still remember them even though I haven't really played these in like 8 years.
