Yes, it's finally getting released at the end of November. There goes my weekends... Anyone else excited about this? I still play HoMM 3 on hotseat with my girlfriend
Well, just put my order in... And I get free clothes... What a deal. Saves me a trip to the clothes store too

Oh yeah. Heroes of Might & Magic 4.
Well. No 2 was brilliant. No 3 was almost the same as No 2, except with all the good things removed and replaced with boring cutscenes, ugly artwork and 3rd rate music. The HoMM 2 music was very very good. Dramatic and all.
WHY CAN'T PEOPLE MAKE DECENT SEQUELS!!!! DAMNIT!

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

you forgot the new graphics and more units/stuff.
I never listened to the music anyway, always put my own music on.
I wonder if we get the level editor this time around?
Anyway, Osirisis MOO3 or HoMM IV first?

It's a tossup when January rolls around. I just noticed that they set a release date but the release date for HoMM4 is end of November. So I get a full month to play with it before the whole MOO3 thing. Why oh why is there not enough time in the day And then there is the Evercrack thing. Although they haven't set an actual release date yet. It's going to be an exciting quarter in Mac gaming I can hardly contain myself....

Less time than I thought. I'm not complaining about an early delivery

It's not a bad thing. Gives you more time to enjoy HoMM IV before MOO3 takes over your life. I haven't touched Civ3 in ages. I think I preferred Civ II over it to tell the truth. It's very anti-warmonger, which is my favorite type of game to play. It's also very anti-bribing. By the time you can bribe cities or units, everyone already has Democracies in place. Overall, my favorite game of that type is Alpha Centauri and it's expansion pack. Glad they still play fine in Classic. Pity the same is not true for MOO II But that's why MOO III is around the corner. No hotseat though... Time to start saving for that second machine for my girlfriend
Does anyone know if HoMM IV supports hotseat? It would be a big letdown if it doesn't

1) MOOII has been playing GREAT for me in 10.2 No more graphic glitches and all that.
2) as for hotseat, I don't see why it wouldn't be there. I do see a modem required for some forms of mutilplayer and when I tried to find the answer I noticed that the expansion has some form of multiplayer update. Not sure exactly what though...
