Heeelo there.
In a nutshell, RtCW can't connect (sucessfully) to any online server I try and start a game with. It either claims there is an illegal or foreign pak3 file that exists or that the server disconnected for an unknown reason.
Funny thing about that pak3 warning is that prior to getting the error, there is no added in pak3's. It is only after I get the warning do I get a weird pak3 that is a "bushmod" or something that appears.
I'm oh so very puzzled here, anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried visiting Aspyr's (the publishers) site? They should have the answer and solution to your question.

It's a beta release. There's an issue that causes a severe performance penalty with all ATI cards which is probably why they didn't make any official announcement. There's a couple of different workarounds, though.
Check out Aspyr's site and check out the RtCW support section.

Yea, I noticed the massive drop is frame rate.
I'll hit up the support section and see what I find.
Thanks much.

If you don't want to suffer from the ATI frame rate plunge with Aspyr's 1.33 version, then go back to 1.32, and you'll have to replace one file in Wolfenstein's Main folder with a file from the PC version of the game.
This lets you play the game with 1.33 servers, but using 1.32 of the program.
You should do a search for Wolfenstein related topics in this forum, and you'll find the link that gets you the PC file you need, and tells you what to do with it.
I used this approach, and things run fine with 1.33 servers, although I do notice that my sound seems to drop out more than it did when I was running a pure version of 1.32.
