Did anyone ever play any game of the Ishar series by Silmarils? I was inspired by the current discussion about abandonware, if anyone actually had Ishar (any one of them) and was willing to part with it (for money if it's an original).
I have been scanning the internet high and low, without ANY result. I am pretty sure most abandonware is readily available somewhere on the net, but this game completely eludes me!
Anyway, if you did have it (at one time) how did you like it? Me, I thought it was immensely fresh and exciting at the time. It was like Dungeon Master but outside! And in dungeons. It was HUGE! Dozens of colorful characters and an immersing plot (especially in Ishar II, messangers of doom).
I love the old school games (even though Ishar is pushing it as an old school game... heck it was made in the 90s!).
