Hey all. yeah i just posted in the "install games in OSX only" thread, figured i'd start this one since it was a bit more direct subject. i looked onversiontracker and couldn't find the supposed OSX only installer for starcraft. i've been craving a little old-school blizzard action and figured i'd whip out the SC & BW, but then i realized that i didn't have classic :-) any help?

There is no "Starcraft OS X installer" just a carbon executable and a few data files. You will still need to install SC&BW in classic or 9 and then patch them with the respective updates.

[edit]just saw your last sentence, your ****ed. Install 9/classic

I contacted Blizzard about a month ago about just that and they said they are looking into making native OSX installers for Starcraft and Diablo 2 in the future.

Don't hold your breath on that one. They've also been promising a 1.10 patch for Diablo II for over 18 months now.

Just passing the info, don't shoot the messenger. Besides, my iPod is my classic partition for issues of installing MacOS 9 applications and updates.
