Problem 1: So I installed Q2 for OS X today. Runs great, and looks absolutely gorgeous with FSAA enabled. BUT everything has a red tint! Everything is tinted red, or some odd shade of red, and I don't know how to fix it. Some help would be appreciated.
Problem/Question 2: FSAA (full-screen anti-aliasing) is beautiful in Quake 2, but I was wondering if it can be enabled for Quake 3? I'd love to see how it looks. Dual-800/GF3/768MB, if any of that is needed.
Thanks in advance.

You can get the Q2 update for OS X at macgamefiles.com.
Anyone else having these problems, or know how to remedy them?

There's no specific OS X Quake 2 CD. My copy of Mac Quake 2 was purchased a few years go when it was first released.
Try InteractCD. They sometimes have older Mac games. They had a new copy of Future Cop yesterday.

Well, never mind about my red tint problem. It was just the config file from the old version -- I deleted it and it's happy, and it's god damn gorgeous with anti-aliasing on.
But I WOULD still love(!) to know if FSAA is possible in Q3. Anyone? Thanks.

I actually use a PC version of Quake II with a fruitzofdojo OS X port. Works perfectly. Even my DOOM, DOOM II, QUAKE & QUAKE II work from the PC versions, I just copied over the *.pak files.

It is not possible in Quake 3 Arena currently. I wouldn't bet, but I am pretty sure that a solution will find itself during the next 6 months (though it will probably be less).

Darn. I thought as much. Well, at least Q2 looks great, but it's Q2.
