I have starcraft for os x and it doesn't work. I installed the patch over a fresh installation, and this is what happens every time: The game loads and brings me to the main screen. I pick multi or single player and everything is ok. I pick my name from the registry and everything is ok. But when I try to start a game (singleplayer: click the 'start terran campaign' button) the app quits. I don't get an error telling me that the app has suddenly quit, it just quits. Please help me!

Hmm I'm not real sure but I think I read another thread that said you had to install in under OS 9 and then patch it so it worked under OS X, did you do that? If not I have no idea, sorry.

This is a known issue.

The work around is to disable the Options dialog box during startup.
1. Startup the game.
2. Check the box to disable the Options box.
3. Quit the game (it will crash)
4. Startup Starcraft again and enjoy.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

I gave this a shot and it didn't seem to do anything. After checked the disable options box and hitting quit, the program just quit as usual--no crash. I also tried disabling it and then quitting once the program loaded--no such luck. Any other ideas or am I doing something wrong?
