I am getting errors when trying to start up some games, like Red Faction, Elite Forces, and Warbirds. All of the errors mention not being able to get the "pixelformat".

Now In the last couple days I have installed the October Radeon 7500 drivers and also installed Red Faction and Elite Forces.

If it is the new drivers, how can i go back to the old ones?

Is it possible that installing one of the games messed something up?

One thing you should do is run Disk Utilities and fix the permissions on your boot disk then restart. If that doesn't fix the problem you should be able to reinstall the older ATI drivers by reinstalling 10.2.2.

Yeah I ended up doing an archive/re-install. Oh well, it fixed everything so I am happy. Thanks.

Other people have just had to reinstall the 10.2.2 update over their currnet 10.2.2 system to fix weird driver related issues.

Interesting. Just for future reference, how do you fool the Updater into re-installing?
