Just wondering what it takes to beat the "evil" jedi on the demo. (just past the first check point). -Or is that all there is on the demo and its just impossible to beat that little creep? - Or do I just really stink?

thanks!!!!

you can beat him . try changing the lightsaber style to the slower one, and run away lots ;-)

hit him a couple times, and you're done. practice is fun ;-)

yah I'm pretty good at running away. I even threw thermal detonators at him. Exploded those big boxes around him and it seems to do nothing. UGH!

How do you change the saber to the slower speed?

The "l" key does it. But, I wouldn't recommend doing it, you're way more vulnerable that way. I'm also having a tough time beating him, especially when a second one joins in for the fight.

First off, there are only two Sith on the Knight and Master levels.
Secondly, almost nothing works except the saber on them (him).
My advice is to use the Yellow stance (press L until the top bar in the right hud is yellow). Once this is done, use the force speed power to get around him and hack him to death. You can also use the Push power when he jumps, to occasionally knock him down.
When he's down (or you get behind him) don't forget you can throw your blade...
If you run up to a wall and double jump as you run into it, you back-flip off it: good to get behind him. If you try this using the enemy as your wall, you can face kick him do death bit by bit (keep holding the forward run buttion at all times and you run into him, double hit jump).
That's all I can think of for now.
Hope it helps.

wow Stryder, impressive, I never would have known you could do any of those things! I did finally beat him by just hacking away. Unfortunatly that seems to be the end of the game past killing 4 more troopers! I need the full version....... SANTA!!!

You are in for some trouble with the full version...
On Jedi master level, I found the demo very easy. Well in the real game, without cheating in some places, it is impossible (for the ones who played, like the scene with Lando in the hangar. The problem is not staying alive, but you have to protect Lando also. Even with Undying mode on it took me over an hour to get through. Same deal when you need to protect the little robot with shooters on a ledge in Bespin. Also the scene where you need to protect the prisoners and kill the first AT-ST was almost impossible).

Anyone found a way to change the difficulty level of an already started game?

Yeah, I too found the demo pretty easy.

I hated the Stormtroopers -- they kept running about me, and it's difficult to turn 180 degrees even with using a mouse.

Then again, I completed the demo after a few tries (kept getting stuck in the front part)

Eh, yeh wuss.

I've completed the game in jedi mode, first without, then with cheats (you _have_ to play the first couple of levels with full cheats - I like to imagine the look on the faces ... behind the masks ... of the troopers as they realise they're dealing with a full blown kick-arse Jedi complete with light saber).

The lando ship mode is hard but not impossible, as is the R3(?) unit bit ... the prisoner ATST bit is _really_ hard even with cheats (my computer couldn't handle the level, and I had to drop everything back to it's lowest graphical settings in order to get it to run reasonably).

Snazzin frazzin CPU intensive games ... I'm saving my sheckles for a sonnet upgrade ... then we'll see just how tough those AT-ST's are ...

Did the whole game on Jedi Master without cheating. Although I have to admit, I was stuck there for three hours ....

The ATSTs at the beginning go down easy if you jump in the Artillery piece and nail it with that. I didn't start cheats till I ran into some badass in a pit, on the Doomgiver. Also couldn't get past Galak Fyarr without using "god mode". Now I'm lost, wandering around Yavin Swamps, looking for a way into the Canyons.
Stinking addictive game this is...
