After completing the Lizbeth segment, going to the island to obtain the shield and returning to the main gate, I get stuck. The groundskeeper is supposed to show up and unlock the gate, but he never does for me.

I'm stuck staring at the gate with 2/3 of the game remaining.

Am I alone in this? Anybody else have this problem? Aspyr won't respond to my pleas for help.... but if there are others who have encountered this bug, we might convince them to do something about it.

Walk back and forth in front of the gate at varying distances. I've found that some of the conversations don't take place unless Patrick is in the exact spot designated for the NPC to come out and talk. It took a while for me too, finally happened last night.
