Just so you folks know, don't let the sparseness of our upcoming page ( http://www.ambrosiasw.com/news/upcoming/ ) fool ya -- we have four titles in the works right now (and a stealth 5th project too). We'll probably be putting some screenshots and more info for some of them shortly -- just want the projects to be a bit along before we do that.

The names? Uplink, Redline, Siege, and Rockfall. Two of those games, in fact, have spots on our upcoming page now:

It'll be a fun 2003. Happy holidays, folks.

Pesonally, I'm glad about the Windows ports. I've had a friend who monopolized my computer every time he comes over just to play the various incarnations of EV.

BTW: Will either of the other two EV's be ported to Carbon?

no, but I believe people are working on plugins that allow you to play both games using the Nova engine...

Uplink looks very interesting. I'll be following that one for sure.

Redline will be cool when the weapons are added.

Yes, indeed we are -- and it should be ready to ship pretty soon, too (we're thinking Q1 2003)

Can't wait for Uplink!

Redline looks okay... Kinda of mediocre game but I'm sure the gameplay and fun factor will be excellent

Great! I guess Immersion's announcement came at just the right time. I have a few more questions about Redline if you're able to answer them. First, will an analog clutch be supported? (Obviously analog gas and brake will be.) Also, how realistic will the physics be? While I like arcade racers like NFS and Rallisport Challege, I like realistic racing games (GT3, PGR) even more. I'm hoping Redline will fall into the latter category.

Thanks!

Any rough idea what the requirements for Redline will be? It looks very good... will it just be a straight-out road race style game or maybe a bit more?

Oh, and will they be OS X only or not? My computer has seen many moons as they say and only OS 9 can kick out enough FPS
