I was wondering if people have copies of AOE2 and what performance they get in the game.

I have been playing a large map vs 2 computer players and once I have an army of 20 people each side or even in my own base I get slowdown.

My mouse jumps an inch at a time and battle becomes almost impossible. This is in OS X and Classic mode.

As I am running a Dual 1.25Ghz G4 I don't ever expect to get slowdown on a old game. Is this just my setup or it this a common occurance?

AOE 1.0.5 latest patch
1.25 Ghz
512MB
22" Cinema

You shouldn't be getting performance like that from your machine. I have a G4 450DP and I have never experienced any major slowdowns. Contact Boldgames' support.
I wouldn't try and run AOE II in classic though, it'll run a lot better natively in Mac OS X.
