Hi,
Me and a friend would like our own server to play each other on. My friend has a always-on cable connection with static IP. And since im on 56k, it wouldn't make sense for me to host it.

So we did all the normal procedure. Destination = no etc. And I couldn't see him. So I tried, and he saw me. Now, hes on a LAN, so could that be the reason why?

Or isn't that possible?

hmm, the ip he gave you ain't 192....etc is it?

If so thats his private IP.

No it wasn't...

How can you find out his real one? Or how can he? Hes on XP.
