Sorry to seem so lame on here, but I have been stuck in Jedi Knight II for about a week now and dont even want to play it anymore.
Can anyone tell me where the "secret" switch is to get the mine car in the work area on level 2 I believe? I have no one left to shoot and its amazingly boring now.
A little help please

Be more specific and I'll be able to help you. Tell me what you have already done on the level. Also, you can take a look at the walkthroughs at gamefaqs.com.

thanks Thinine,
I've taken the elevator down to the large room where the mining shuttles go to the right side of the room. I've cleared everything to the left side of the room (meaning tunnel) I've been in the room where the "welder" works on the shuttles (and have died in there too )
Gotten through to the room where you are supposed to get into the shuttle. He says, "this is where they work on shuttles but theres nothing here, wonder where it leads." mostly.
A friend of mine says there is a switch somewhere in the level that brings a mining car to that room. It also had 2 laser cannons on the ceiling.
Seems I've killed everything on that side of the main room. Now I just need to get those other big steel doors open?
DO you need more info?
thanks!!!

I think I know where you are. Go outside and get on the metal platform overlooking the green river. Below you there will be a vent occaisonally extending and retracting. Jump onto in and when it retract, go into it. Now quickly shoot the red column when you get to the end of the tunnel and get on the small platform that will rise up into the area where you died (I think). From here, get on the girders so you are able to jump into one of the mining carts. Thats if I'm correct in knowing where you are.

Yeah, I had to consult a walkthrough to finish that lvl.
Those darn little bugs that bite your knees are uber-annoying.

True that.
Also, I just don't understand how the game makers expect you to know to jump on the vent that extends/retracts.

Exactly - welcome to brilliant level design! Who wants loads of boring corridors?
Just think where do I want to go and is there a bizarre route around? ;-) What would Luke do?

Greetings: I've D/L'd the demo & I'm enjoying playing when I finally get it loaded. It takes FOREVER!!! (2-3 mins) on the initial start up & when it restarts after getting killed. I've tried changing various settings & resolutions but to no avail.
System = G4 450 DP OS 10.1.5 w/ 900 megs ram, ATI Radeon card, Soundblaster card(I know won't work in X)19" Lacie electron blue monitor
Anybody else have this problem?
Suggestions?
Cheers,
Dickymo
