Would a Voodoo 3 be enough to run Tony Hawk 2 under OS 9?

(Also - anyone have the Mac OS drivers for the card?)

What's the rest of your system like? My iMac plays the demo of THPS2 very smooth. I play it at 640x480 with a 400MHz iMac DV, 384 MB RAM. My iMac has an ATi RAGE 128VR, 8 MB AGP video card. I'm not sure exactly how it compares to your voodoo card, but I would guess that your voodoo card is more powerful than my RAGE card. The rest of your system will be a big factor as well. Post back with more information about your system.

It's for a friend with, I believe, a 266 G3 desktop...not positive, though.

Here's the official system requirements:[list][*]Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 plays on any iMac,[*]Hardware 3D acceleration (ATI Rage Pro or better)[*]233 Mhz[*]32 MB memory[*]Open GL 1.1[*]QuickTime 3.0 or higher[*]4x CD-ROM
Sounds your your friends comput should be able to run it. Depending on when he bought it, it might already have a video card good enough to play the game. According to EveryMac.com, his system originally shipped with a ATI 3D Rage II+, then the Rage Pro after May 1, 1998 and the Rage Pro Turbo after August 12, 1998). But that Voodoo card would surely help.
Here's a link to drivers for your video card
