Is there an OS X version of this? Same with Road to Rome?

Thanks

Nope, and there never will be. The company that developed it refuses to release the code, so it will never be ported to anything else. They even cancelled the Xbox version a while back, though that had more to do with EA and Microsoft being at odds with each other.

I'm sad to hear this won't be coming to Mac. My friend has this one and we played for about 5 hours straight and it's pure fun.

If you're looking for a WW2 game on Mac with more than just a FPS soldier viewpoint (MoH:AA), check out WWII Online (http://www.wwiionline.com).

Yeah, yeah, it's not "free" as it does cost $12.99 a month to play (after the first free month). Why is it a pay for play game? Because is a massive multiplayer online game set in WW2 with a 1/2 scale map of Europe. Think Battlefield 1942 that never ends and were your rank actually increases over time (RPG style elements). You can fly many different types of plane, drive tanks and supply trucks, fight as infantry, navigate ships and more!

Give it a look if you're a WW2 fan or if you're looking for a game that won't end anytime soon

Except WW2 online is notoriously buggy, and not nearly as much fun.

BF1942 may never be topped for a large scale online FPS.
