Hey guys,

I recently did a clean, full reinstall of Mac OS X and installed all the updates upto 10.2.4. So I installed SOF and started it up, weird, the loading box is all blue. I loaded a server, weird, all the map is blue, which the options are normal.

I used to run SOF just fine before. But now suddenly its all blue.

Please tell me if you have a fix.

Im NOT on Quicktime 6.1.

Oliver

My friend down the hall in my dorm had the EXACT same problem. You need to access your "color depth" I believe. It's one of those video settings. One thing I do know - you do not need to reinstall the game or preference files. You can do it all within your video settings.

Hope that helps.

Texture compression caused the same behavior on my system with the multiplayer app. I disabled the compression settings and that fixed the blue screen stuff.

I just installed SOF2 on my powerbook and the same exact thing happened Jansar, could you please be more specific in what I need to do to fix the problem. Because texture compression helps reduse lag quite a bit. By the way, I didn't even play the game until I installed the new patch.
