I've just been playing the demo on my 12" G4 PB and noticed that along with version number for the game on the Main menu screen, that it say's "altivec release"
Did any one know this, and does the full game have it too?
Also is "compress textures" avaible under display options in the full game in OSX (10.2.3/4) now?
Any other comments on the game, (does performance increase noticeably with more system Ram?) as I'm thinking of getting the game.

Just wondered if this game was cross paltform (out of the Box) and what your general thoughts are of it as a game.

Well, the game runs just great on my 867 QS, with stock GeForce 2MX 640 mb RAM, and RAID HDs.

It is not a hybrid CD like Warcraft III, however you can play multiplayer with PC users (pretty sure).

More RAM will never hurt... I think 512 is a good starting point these days.

not sure about compressed textures.. to lazy to boot it up and check
