Has anyone else had this problem.

I am trying to run Links Championship Edition on a 12 inch powerbook under 10.2.4. I installed from the CD, then started a new round. I went through all the intro screens fine. The course seemed to load fine. Just at the point where the first tee shot was rendering, before the program left the splash screen, there was a kernel panic. The tee shot was never rendered. Has anyone else seen this problem?

What resolution are you trying?
There is an issue with nvidia while running 1024 X 768 32 bit resolution in links.

I tried changing resolution to 800 x 600 before launching links. Links seemed to change it back to 1024x768 as it launched. Then, I got the same kernel panic. I e-mailed bold on Sunday but I have not yet gotten a response. Any other suggestions?

Did you change your system resolution via the preference pane?
Links has it's own setting as well. If it is set for 1024 x 768, you'll have to change it within the game itself, too.
At the main menu, click options, then chooose graphic settings.
(That's what I remember, I'm not sitting at my machine.)
