Are we getting screwed out of the new C&C just like how we got screwed out of Red Alert...

The first one was fun and I played it all the time years ago, I would love for the new one to come out on Mac but do any of you think that it will happen?

There's really only one way to find out and that's to write to Aspyr I think. They've published all the EA mac releases so I guess they'd be the ones to do this. Write to them asking for SimCity 4 too.

Well, now that they've announced SC4K maybe C&C's next?
I think the original was good, Red Alert was GREAT, and everything since then has been a tired re-hash. How is the new one going to be different? I'm hoping it will be more than just '[even] more new units!' There are only so many crazy weapons they can come up with. The games have just felt like expansion packs since Red Alert. IMHO.

btw, is Red Alert now playable on Virtual PC?

I've been playing C&C Generals on my PC - I've finished the Chinese missions and am now on the GLA missions. Next comes the USA.

The game is certainly a lot of fun, and while the major changes have come in the form of a graphics overhaul and the novel "Generals" system, if you enjoyed C&C and Red Alert (we'll ignore Tiberium Sun for now) you'll have plenty of reasons to like Generals... provided it gets a Mac release for those of you without a gaming PC.

Dear Customer,

There is no RA2 version for the Macintosh.

Westwood has no plans at this time for any more Mac projects. If this decision changes in the future, we will let everyone know through the web site or via other press releases.

Thanks!

what kind of half assed response is that!!!!!!!

The better option may be to contact Aspyr:
http://www.aspyr.com./inside/contact.php

I think the last email (info@) is probably the most appropriate. They've done all the EA mac projects so they probably have the best chances of talking EA and thus Westwood into letting a mac version out the door. I guess more requests to EA would help too since they would have the final say.

This is the ONLY way to see C&C on the mac everyone so don't just post in here that you want to see it. Write to Aspyr and EA, let them know. They're the only ones who can do it.

WestWood is no more. I wouldn't hold my breath for this game....
