Do you still have your receipt? They'll likely send you another CD if you can prove to them that you've bought the game.

A little offtopic, and I do believe that you've bought the game, but everytime somebody looses a CD or something like this, I always remember the phrase, "Yes, download the second CD."

I bought the game a long time ago, don't think I've still got the reciept, I might havethe debit amount no a statement somewhere but I doubt it.
I think I bought it form Macgold in the UK, so they might be able to pass on some proof of purchase, but getting a copy (from Macplay) living in the UK as I do I think will prove (if they agree to all this, which I doubt) very difficult, could try though I suppose.
Thanx for the reply anyhow, I just wondered if there were any disc image hacks ala UT that I could try before I have to pay for the game again.
It's SOOOO anoying having paid for the game and having it installed on my hardrive but not being able to play it!
Thanx 4 the Reply though.

I think I have seen a no cd patch around and have personally tried a few for other games but they don't normally update well and I am not sure if down-grading is an option. so it would possibly be useless.

I mean this is a great game and now its like what only 14 bucks? (maybe 20 I don't know) but there are somethings I do when buying games

1) I have to get them off the internet because if you say you have a mac in Central Texas people will think you are crazy and say you should try the internet. Also buying off Amazon or GoGamer they keep a record of what you have bought.

2) make CDr Backups. A lot of folks hate that. "your stealling" they say but when there cd cracks and is lost what are they going to do?

3) Always have a copy of KDX around. just in case.

Mac games are hard to find and cost loads in the UK, the average price for Giants is £40 the cheapest I can find it is £30.
As for KDX I've never come across the software before but I'm guessing it's some sort of CD copying software?
Bout to to do a search on google right now...

KDX is a program similar to Hotline and Caraccho. Someone runs a server, and you connect to it with the client program.

"that should give you every right to download it" but no chance of being realisticly able to do so on a 56K modem

roders,

You only need CD1 to play the game, you don't need both CD's. I have Giants perhaps you colud contact me if you need a copy of CD 1?

I believe you. I just love hearing people say they are looking for a no CD crack or if the second CD is necessary, just because of that silly line, "Yes, download the second CD."
