has someone already played realMyst on a 12" PowerBook ?
Is the geforce 4 420 go video performance satisfying ?
Just wondering because rM has the same game engine as "uru" ! But the porting of "uru - online ages beyond myst" for Mac OS is still unsure...

realMyst runs at like 15 FPS on an iMac G4/700/GF2MX at 1024x768/high, which is fine for the type of game it is...

Uru should be fine on a 12" PB, though I doubt it uses the same engine as realMyst (since realMyst, IIRC, uses a modified Quake 3 engine).
Be happy.

Our proprietary engine used in realMYST has continued to change and improve in the years since realMYST was released. So it's still the same engine (as opposed to us using an entirely different engine from another company), but it has changed enough over the years that realMYST may not necessarily be a very accurate gauge of how Uru will run on your hardware set up. It would probably be better to wait and see what final hardware requirements end up being.
