I don't know of any good ones. Do you?

Or a UNIX Atari ST emulator that can be compiled for OS X?

I need to play Sundog. Like now. <shivers>

Check out HAtari:

http://hatari.sourceforge.net

I haven't tried it wi the game you mentioned, but it plays a few others just fine.

Also NoSTalgia:

Hopefully one should do what you want it to.

Thank you mrwalker. NoSTalgia doesn't emulate the 2nd mouse button on my mouse, some mouse movements (like in Dungeon Master) and doesn't support sampled sound.

Hatari is pretty great. It does everything, but is very buggy and crashy still. (only in version 0.2.5 so forgiven)
It has some issues with the mouse (you always see tha Mac mouse and the Atari mouse cursor at the same time) It can be confusing.

I can play Sundog with it though, so much happiness there

It is great to see this emulator on OS X. Makes me glad we have a UNIX OS. Hatari has grat potential, but needs serious work. It is pretty fast though (compared to NoSTalgia)

Here is a list of emulators at Emulation.net. The site is great for other emulators too.

I like MacEmu. It's updated a little more often than Emulation.Net and has a pretty nice look.

Sundog! Sundog rocks!

Geez.. had forgotten how completely cool that game was. What would turn my crank is an Atari 800 em and a copy of Dandy... anyone remember that?
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

I'd like to point enthusiasts of the Atari (and the Mac emulators) to the (aptly named) Atari Forum!

http://www.atari-forum.com/

A lot of useful information there (good places to d/l disk images etc), demos, +++
